What we believe, and why we built MARIA.

Marketing agencies built a beautiful inefficiency. Three weeks to write five posts. A thousand euros to brief a calendar. We loved the work. We didn't love the math. MARIA started as a question — what if the slowest parts simply disappeared, and the people doing the thinking got their hours back?

Briefs should take minutes, not weeks.

The bottleneck has never been the creative work. It is the choreography around it — the brief that becomes a deck that becomes a meeting that becomes a revised brief. Every loop adds days. Every day adds cost. None of it shows up in the final post.

MARIA compresses that loop into a single workspace. The Brand DNA, the strategy, the brief, the assets, the calendar, the campaign piloting — one continuous surface, one continuous train of thought. The work that used to take a fortnight resolves over a coffee.

AI doesn't replace creativity. It removes the agency.

The double meaning is intentional. Creative judgement remains human — taste, story, the decision of what is worth saying. None of that is on the table.

What is on the table is the agency itself. The intermediation. The producer who relays the brief, the account manager who schedules the call, the freelancer who waits a week to start. MARIA does not generate ideas in place of yours. It removes the structure that used to stand between you and shipping them.

A studio that can't ship is just a studio that meets a lot.

Brand voice is the only feature that matters.

Any tool built this year can generate competent words. Very few can sound like you. The difference is not a clever prompt — it is a layer of the system designed, from the start, to model voice as carefully as it models language.

We invested heavily there because everything else is downstream of it. A campaign that sounds generic is a campaign that erodes the brand it was meant to serve. A campaign that sounds like you is a campaign you can ship without re-reading every line.

Voice is not a setting we toggle on. It is the spine of the product.

Pricing should respect time, not extract from it.

We charge per plan, not per generation. Pricing is flat and legible — generous monthly limits, meters you can see, and a heads-up before you reach one. No hidden surcharge for the second draft, no bill that balloons because you thought harder this month. And if you'd rather set your own ceilings, bring your own API key — the costs land on you, not us.

We would rather have fewer users who feel respected than more users who feel watched. The economics of that choice are slower. They are also the reason this product exists at all.

We measure success in retainers cancelled, not seats sold.

Built in Beirut, on purpose.

A Beirut team builds for a global market — and the view from the Levant is part of what shapes the work. Less velocity, more discipline. Smaller teams, longer attention spans. Less ambition to dominate a category, more interest in making a single object well.

We did not choose Beirut because it is convenient. We chose it because the constraints it imposes — on headcount, on funding, on hype — are constraints that produce better software. We intend to stay small enough that every decision still passes through a real conversation.
